What a FiveM antispoof is, and how to choose one
A FiveM antispoof keeps banned players off your server when they come back on a new account. People also call it an anti spoof, an anti spoofer or an antispoofer.

What an antispoof does
When someone connects, an antispoof checks one thing: has your server banned this person before, on any account? If yes, it keeps the new account out. If no, the player plays as usual.
An antispoof only knows the people your server has banned. Your anticheat or your staff still makes the first ban.
Antispoof or anticheat?
| Tool | What it checks | When |
|---|---|---|
| Anticheat | Is this player cheating right now? | While they play |
| Antispoof | Has this server banned this person before? | When they connect |
You need both. The anticheat catches the cheater, and the antispoof keeps the ban in place on their next account.
What to ask before you choose one
Ask every seller these questions, us too.
| Ask | Why it matters | A good answer |
|---|---|---|
| What happens when it blocks the wrong player? | Every tool is wrong sometimes, and a player who did nothing pays for it. | Your staff sees which ban the block is linked to and lets the player in with one click. When the tool is not sure, it lets the player in and tells your staff. |
| What happens when it is offline? | It checks every player who connects. If it blocks everyone while it is down, its outage is your outage. | Players get in after a short wait. Players it already blocked stay blocked. |
| Does it share bans between servers? | A wrong ban on another server would then follow a player to yours. | Only your own server's bans count on your server. |
| Does it act before the player loads in? | If it acts later, a returning cheater gets time on your server first. | It acts when the player connects, before they are in the game. |
| What does a blocked player see? | A player with nothing to quote opens a ticket your staff cannot answer. A detailed reason tells a cheater what to change. | A short code to give your staff, and nothing about why. |
| Which ban tools does it read? | If it only knows bans made in its own menu, your staff has to ban everyone twice. | The tools your staff already uses, for new bans and for lifted ones. |
| What does it cost your server? | It runs for every player who joins. | A number in milliseconds that you can check yourself with resmon. |
| What does it keep about players? | You are responsible for your players' data. In the EU they can ask you for a copy. | A data processing agreement that says what is kept, where and for how long, and a notice players see before anything is read. |
| Can it watch first, without blocking anyone? | You see how many banned players come back before anyone is turned away. | A mode that only watches and shows what it would have done. |
A shared ban list is also a legal risk. In the EU a ban record is personal data. Using it on other servers is a new purpose that players must be told about, and every server that uses the list can be held responsible for a wrong entry. This is not legal advice. Cfx.re also lists global ban lists among the resources it does not allow.
Where FiveSpoof fits
FiveSpoof is an antispoof. It only uses your own server's bans, and it reads them from txAdmin and the other common ban tools. If it does not answer within 3 seconds, players get in. Every server starts in a mode that blocks nobody.

Questions
Is an antispoof the same as a spoofer?
No, it is the opposite. Banned players use a spoofer to look like someone new. Server owners use an antispoof to keep them out anyway.
Is there a free FiveM antispoof?
FiveSpoof is free for one server with up to 48 players at its busiest. No card is needed.
Do I need an antispoof if my server has an allowlist?
Less than an open server does. An allowlist stops strangers at the door, so a banned player has to apply again on a new account.
Some still do. An antispoof can keep them out when they connect.
